David de Gea reached a personal landmark on Monday as the goalkeeper took the field for his 250th game as a Manchester United player.
The Spain international was named between the posts for the Premier League clash against West Ham in the Red Devils' first game of 2017.
And once the game kicks off he will reach 250 appearances for the club, a milestone he completed in five-and-a-half years at Old Trafford.
De Gea moved to the side then managed by Sir Alex Ferguson in June 2011 after starting his career with Atletico Madrid, and made his competitive debut that year against Manchester City in the Community Shield.
The star has kept goal for four different managers during his time at the club, with Ferguson followed in the post by David Moyes, Louis van Gaal and current incumbent Jose Mourinho.
The 26-year-old, who 18 months ago was on the verge of moving to Real Madrid, lifted the Premier League title in 2012-13 and the FA Cup last season, while he has also tasted victory in the Community Shield on three occasions.
De Gea has additionally been named by United fans as the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year for three consecutive seasons, a feat only Cristiano Ronaldo has managed since the award came into existence in 1988.
