The Blues appear to be extremely close to signing the Portuguese 'keeper from Dinamo Zagreb after manager Zlatko Kranjcar admitted that the player will play his last game for the club when they take on Red Bull Salzburg this week.
When asked if it would be Eduardo's last game for the club, Kranjcar said: "Yes, I think so.
"Eduardo has been given an amazing opportunity to leave for a big club like Chelsea.
"When he arrived we gained security in our team, and in my time in the club he has defended his goal very well. But the situation is that he is leaving. May he have all the good luck in a big club".
The imminent arrival of Eduardo may mean that Asmir Begovic may be on his way out of the door at Stamford Bridge, with Everton reportedly interested.
