Thibaut Courtois joined Chelsea in 2011 from KRC Genk. He spent three seasons on loan at Atletico Madrid and fell in love with the City and the Country. He emphasized several times he would like to return to his former club or the Spanish league and the Spaniards have heard his call. Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid are both reportedly keen to sign the Chelsea goalkeeper.
Chelsea want to keep him and according to 'The Sun', the clubs wants to offer him a contract for two further years, until summer 2021, in order to make him stay. This sounds like a good offer for the 24-year-old but there is a little problem: They do not want to offer him a pay rise. Therefore he has to continue working for the same salary.
Could this undermining make him leave earlier or is Conte willing to negotiate?
