Chelsea's Russian owner Roman Abramovich and Italian coach Antonio Conte clashed a few days ago after the chairman reacted to the manager's treatment of striker Diego Costa, and everything pointed towards a change in the dugout for the Blues.
However, according to the Telegraph, Chelsea and Conte are now very close to reaching an agreement to extend the Italian's stay until 2019.
The mentioned source also spoke about a potential salary of around 10 million pounds for Conte who has placed Chelsea at the forefront of European football once again.
