According to 'Sky Sports', Chelsea and Roma have reached an agreement for former Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko to switch to the west London outfit, who could also include Brazilian left-back Emerson Palmieri in a double deal.
While both clubs appear to have agreed terms, as reported by the aforementioned source, the Blues are yet to seal the deal with Dzeko's camp, with the length of the contract or the size of the wages standing in the way. Palmieri's deal is understood to be further down the line, with the player ready to travel to London.
Antonio Conte's side have been linked with several strikers in January, including Andy Carroll and Ashley Barnes, but it now looks like Dzeko is the man to ease the burden on Alvaro Morata.
