Renowned German publication 'Bild' reports that the incident occurred following Bayern's 4-0 win over Mainz, with Vidal electing to celebrate the victory with his brother Sandrino at the 'Crown hip-hop' nightclub.
The aformentioned source claims that Vidal sat down at other people's tables and made fun of them, as well as throwing bottles of alcohol, ammounting to some €515. As if that weren't enough one of the bottles hit a man in the head.
"The attack with the bottle didn't come from Vidal's group," claimed nightclub boss Oliver Reig. Even so, the fact that Vidal was involved at all shows poor judgement.
The nightclub bouncers soon intervened which led to a violent stand-off between the parties.
It is thought that the complaint made to the police is not directly aimed at Vidal, though he is certainly involved if 'Bild' is correct.
