The game is being organized by local side QPR and is set for September 2.
There will be a wealth of talent on show with David Seaman, Les Ferdinand, Alan Shearer and Ally McCoist all confirmed as playing, along with a plethora of celebrities.
However, former QPR midfielder Barton will not be able to take part. Barton has been banned from all football activity until June 1, 2018 after admitting to breaching betting rules. As the Grenfell tower fundraiser is to be an FA sanctioned game, Barton will be ineligible.
The 34-year-old took to Twitter to express his disappointment at being unable to support the cause. He told his followers: "I would have loved to be supporting the game4Grenfell at Loftus Road on 02.09.2017... but the FA have decided my ban extends to helping a great cause. So unfortunately, unless someone engages their brain, I won't make it."
