Barcelona continue to ponder on how to spend the fee they got for Neymar. The 222 million euros pocketed by the Catalan side have invited the rest of clubs in Europe to increase their asking prices for players targeted by Valverde.
Such is the case of Ousmane Dembele, for whom Borussia Dortmund are demanding 150 million euros. Barcelona are interested in signing the 20-year-old, but are not prepared to meet such an outrageous fee.
In their attempts to get a better deal, Valverde's side are considering the inclusion of one of their own in exchange for the Frenchman, as revealed by Spanish publication 'Mundo Deportivo'.
Said players would be Arda Turan, who is looking for a way out of the club, Denis Suarez, who has had a wholly unconvincing first season and could be free to leave, Rafinha, who has seen his progress stinted by a string of injuries and Gerard Deulofeu.
After returning to the club following spells at Everton and Milan, the winger is poised to exit Barcelona again, even though at first he looked to be back for good.
Dembele's transfer is causing more than one headache at the Camp Nou, and more so when they could have signed him for 15 million last year had they got there before the Bundesliga side.
