Paris Saint-Germain and Nice faced eachother in a Ligue 1 clash on Friday night, although that wasn't the only face-off which took place on the Parc des Princes pitch.
Cavani and Balotelli are the leaders of their respective teams, especially given the absence of PSG star Neymar, and both players are fiery characters, as demonstrated when they came together in a moment of tension which, ultimately, led to nothing more.

The Italian and the Uruguayan exchanged threatening looks and came face-to-face, but the confrontation did not escalate from there, luckily for both players.
Cavani and Balotelli have a history of on-field spats, with at least two previous occasions of the pair coming together.
Specifically, last year with the same clubs, both players seemed to have a heated exchange, and even had to be separated by their team-mates.
And this clash is not just limited to the domestic stage, as during a match between Italy and Uruguay, the duo once again came to blows in a similar fashion to Friday evening, as can be seen in the images.
