The Gunners trained in front of thousands of Arsenal fans at the Shanghai Stadium. Even Arsene Wenger received a warm reception, with one fan holding up an 'In Arsene we trust' sign, something of a rare occasion after such a disastrous Premier League campaign last season.
Bayern, also training in front of a large fanbase, will remember their last two fixtures with the north London side fondly, both ending in comfortable 5-1 wins for the German champions.
Speaking at a press conference Thomas Muller said 'It makes you glad when you come here and see the support for Bayern'.
Both teams will have new signings on show for the friendly. Alexandre Lacazette could start for the Gunners and James Rodriguez could feature for Bayern.
Arsenal and Bayern will face off at the Shanghai Stadium tomorrow lunchtime.
