Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed he will make his Hollywood debut in the upcoming Star Trek Beyond movie.
The Italian is set to take over at Bayern Munich in the summer, but will also be seen on the big screen when the movie is released on July 22.
“I am a doctor on the Enterprise," he told Sky Sports.
“The husband of actress Zoe Saldana [who will play 'Uhura'] is Italian and I have a good relationship with the family. They were in Vancouver to film the movie and they asked me to come and watch.
“I went, spoke to the director [Justin Lin] and he said 'I'll put you in small part'.”
The 56-year-old will only play a small part and unlike many of the cast members will not have to undergo a radical male-up transformation.
“[I have] a normal face with the wardrobe of a doctor,” he added.
