Champions League success has eluded Juventus since the 1995-1996 season. However, new signing Dani Alves is aiming to put an end to their Champions League throphy drought.
Juventus signed 33-year-old right-back Alves on a two-year deal from Barcelona, and hope he can lead them to European success.
Alves played in the 2015 Champions League final for Barcelona against his new club, as Juve lost the match and ultimately missed out on winning a treble.
"It's a great honour to be here. Juve have a great dream and I want to make it a reality," said the veteran full-back.
"I can't say exactly what Juve require to win the Champions League. That's something I'll begin to work out from now onwards.
"We need to believe we can win the Champions League if we are to do it. We will give it our best shot.
"Juve is a club full of interesting challenges and goals. There's a unique opportunity to go down in history here."
The Brazilian defender appears to be looking forward to his new challenge in Turin.
"The club's history fascinates me. I also wanted a new experience, in a new country," he said.
