The sale of Italian giants AC Milan to a Chinese consortium has been put off until March 3, the club owners and Chinese investors said Wednesday.

The new date agreed between owner Silvio Berlusconi's Fininvest holding company and the Sino-Europe Sports replaces the earlier deadline of December 13 for completion of the deal, the two sides said in a statement.
